Why is my dog constantly licking scabs on his skin? What to do?

Found these 3 scabs on my dog,he is licking it all the time. What is these?

It looks like Charlie might have come in to contact with something that irritated his skin. The irritation leads to licking and the licking leads to scabs. It is also possible fleas, insect bite or trauma can cause similar lesions. I would recommend a cone to make sure he cannot lick. Also you can try epson salt compress two times a day with an over the counter anti histamine. However if it is not improving I would recommend taking him to a vet for medications
