Why won't my baby cockatiel eat or drink? Food around its mouth.

We have a cockatiel about 2 or 3 months well theres something going around its mouth and the inside, to me it looks like food because its there every day it doesnt eat on its own it constantly wants to be fed by its mother she'll feed but then it keeps wanting more i don't think it drinks water because the food is dried around its mouth what can we do

It sounds like there may be something stuck in Jerry's mouth or throat/crop, or there may be a functional deformity that is preventing him from being able to eat and drink properly. While baby birds may still be occasionally fed by their parents at this age, they should be exploring, eating and drinking on their own for the most part. It would be best to bring Jerry into a local avian clinic so that they can examine him safely and check for illness or physical issues.
