French bulldog yelping in pain, acting weird, but no obvious injury?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 25 lbs

I have a French bulldog and he has been randomly yelping in pain, but when I feel around on his body he is fine. It seems like he is hurt. His ears are back and he's acting hesitant and just not acting himself

Since you are unable to determine what is the cause of Brixton's I would recommend taking him in the see the vet for a full exam. Sometimes when the source of pain cannot easily be identified the dog can have spinal/back pain or possibly abdominal pain. At the very least your vet can prescribe some pain medication to help get your dog more comfortable.
