If Jet is otherwise healthy I don't necessarily think it is dangerous for her to be pregnant. At that age we do start to see many age related diseases, and while you can screen for many diseases like hyperthyroidism and she may seem healthy on a physical exam there is always a possibility that she may have an underlying disease that puts her at risk. If you are not planning to breed her I would recommend having her spayed - cats do not stop cycling as they age unless they develop a reproductive disease.
