On average male dogs become fertile after six months of age and reach full sexual maturity by 12 to 15 months. It is possible for him to impregnate a female dog at his age but it is not likely. I hope this helps!

Hello. At this age, your pet is old enough to conceive & carry a healthy pregnancy. You can confirm a pregnancy at about 21 days with an ultrasound. Then, you should have puppies in about 63 days. Thanks for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Male dogs can become sexually fertile anytime after six months of age, and female dogs can go into heat from around six months of age, but it can occur at a younger age. Female dogs will not allow a dog to tie with her unless she is in heat, so if Pggy allowed a male dog to mate with her, then there will be a very good chance she got pregnant from this, possible a 6-7 out of 10.
