Are progesterone injections to suppress heat cycles suitable for female dogs ? What are the risks ? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old

I usually do not recommend these injections. There is a risk for developing diabetes, bone marrow suppression, or a life threatening uterine infection. If you do not want Aarfaa to cycle and are not breeding her you could consider having her spayed.
