My puppy's vaccine schedule: Is it correct after a feed store shot?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 16 days old | 5 lbs

I got my puppy from a puppy store. She was 2 months and started vaccines at 7 weeks. My vet gave her another vaccine at 10 weeks and instructed me to give another vaccine at 13 and again at 16 weeks? Is this correct? I go to a local animal feed store and gave her a 6-1 vaccine myself at 14 weeks. The only thing left to give her is her rabbies vaccine. Should I give her another 6-1 vaccine at 16 weeks or is she good with having 3 series.

The ideal vaccination series should have 2 combination vaccines given after 12 weeks with the final vaccine between 16-20 vaccines. I would also recommend having these vaccines given by a veterinarian or at least purchased from a veterinarian. Vaccines from a feed store can be mis-handled and therefore not be active when given. This would leave Violet susceptible to contagious and possibly fatal diseases.
