I was grooming my dog and I accidentally clipped her vulva, is she going to be okay? Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | unspayed | 9 months old | 8 lbs

Oh no! Grooming accidents happen quite commonly. From the picture, it looks as though Bella's vulva is simply irritated and does not actually have any broken skin. She should be perfectly fine, but if she seems to lick excessively, consider using an e-collar (cone) for the next few days. If the irritation spreads or does not improve over the next few days, Bella should take a trip to her vet. I hope that all goes well!
