After poison shot, my cat won't eat and has runny eye. Human eyedrops?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months old | 0.44 lbs

My cat got an injection against poison a few days ago.He started drinking water, wasn't vomiting and started to be a bit happier but still doesn't eat.I gave him some "Friskies - tuna and salmon" and he only licked it.We got him some vitamin pills (photo 1).He ate a quarter of one pill. I think he feels better but his eye is runny.Could I give him some human eye drops? (photo 2) P.S. sorry if the photos are bad quality!

I don't know what injection your cat received but I don't think vitamins will help make him eat. I recommend going back to your vet because cats cannot go very long without eating. It can make them worse very quickly. I also don't recommend the human eye meds because cats don't have the same pH as we do. Your vet may need to do further testing to help find the cause of his inappetence.
