My dachshund is crying, whining, and very clingy. Is she in pain?

My toy 2 yr old female daschund started crying whining almost non-stop since yesterday don't know why though,only time she stops is if she is in my lap or in bed undercover with me ,I can't go take bath cook clean without her crying hot on my heels ,she won't even go out but a min comes back crying until she's back in my lap or in bed with me,help. Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund miniature | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 4 lbs

The behavior you are describing makes me think Daisy is probably painful. Oftentimes when dogs are uncomfortable they seek comfort from their owner, will cry out in pain, will tremble or shiver, or be lethargic. In a dachshund I would be concerned about back/spinal pain since they are predisposed to intervertebral disc disease. I would recommend taking Daisy into your vet so she can be checked out and they can figure out exactly what is going on and get her back to herself. Good luck.
