My budgies ignore their nest. What can I do to encourage nesting?

Hello, I got my budgies a big cage and nest (the cage is almost the size of a aviary) they went inside their nest on Monday, they kept coming inside and out, know they don't seem to get interested in it........any tips?!

They could be too young (or too old) to breed. A hen should because least one year old. A younger hen will likely be too inexperienced to mate and raise chicks. Make sure they aren't "arguing". This can be a sign of incompatibility. Provide at least 12 hours of natural or simulated sunlight to encourage mating.
