Should I drain my dog's slow-growing leg tumor instead of surgery?

Pet's info: Dog | Airedale Terrier | Female | spayed

Can a tumor on a leg be reduced by draining, it has been slow growing.It is presumed malignant although the vet didn't take biopsy.

No, in most cases this would not be effective at all and would only increase the risk of infection and other complications. Surgical removal would likely be the best option, if this is feasible given the size and location of the mass.
