My cat's labor stopped, found a cold kitten. What should I do?

I think her labor was interrupted. We were all at work and when I got home I found a kitten in the birthing area, but it was cold

I'm sorry to hear about the kitten. If you suspect Buttercup still has kittens remaining, appears very exhausted or in distress, or is unable to produce another kitten while still attempting labor, it is best to seek veterinary care immediately as she may need medical help to help birth any remaining kittens.
