Puppy pooping many long worms after medicine, is a vet visit urgent?

My 10 week old puppy is pooping nothing but round worms about 15 of them at a time and about 4 inches long!!!! Help! I gave her some medicine for worms is that mean it's helping or she need to go to the vet? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 23 days old | 8 lbs

Hi there. If the parasite load is so high you are seeing them in large quantities like this-it's time to go to the vet. These parasites can deplete a young puppy's immune system quickly, and is overall upsetting to the gi system. I recommend taking her as soon as you can. I hope this helps
