My 5-month-old puppy is clearing his throat. Is this normal?

my 5 month old puppy seems to be trying to "clear his throat at times" is this normal? He has lost two teeth recently I got one and I assume he swallowed the other. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 5 months old | 50 lbs

If it is an occasional occurrence then it may be nothing abnormal but if he is doing it frequently then he should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. He could have a respiratory infection and/or inflammation and need an antibiotic and and anti-inflammatory to treat.
