Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered
Any tips on alternatives to phermones for easing a 5month, neutered, medically sound male kitten into socialising with animals? He hisses/growls at animals upon noticing them. Will follow them around if they walk away but will either stand his ground or run away when they turn around. He goes wherever I go (friends/family/shops), has no problem with cars/people/noises. But reacts to dogs/cats, so looking for training tips to alter this reaction to calm/confident if that's even possible? Thanks!!

You can try acclimating him to one dog or cat at a time. Do this on "neutral" ground and begin with very short periods of time. Once he is fine with sight and smell, physically introduce them under strict supervision. Choose a new pet when he accepts one and begin the gradual process again. Praise and reward him as he progresses. be patient and be consistent.
