My dog has swollen eyes, vomiting, and a green tail. What to do?

my dog woke up with swollen eyes .. he threw up some food containing colored pepper .. can it be an allergic reaction to the pepper or something ?? he also has something greenish on his tail and no hair in this area I used clotrimazole as i thought it's fugal infection but no obvious improvement .. the green color appeared today what should i do

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Poor Cesar! The swollen eyes and the vomiting, if came on suddenly, can definitely be from an allergic reaction. I doubt it is from eating colored paper. It is usually from an insect sting or bite. Because he vomited with the allergic reaction I recommend taking him to your Vet. They then will likely give him injections of steroid and antihistamines. The tail hair loss and greenish discharge likely indicated an infection. It could be bacterial or yeast or ringworm (fungus) or trauma. Have the Vet take a look at the area when you bring him in. Good luck!
