What is this bright purple, grape-sized lump on my dog's shoulder?

My dog has a lump on her left shoulder. It is bright purple and about the size of a grape. What could this be?

This looks like a mass in the skin, it could be a reaction to infection, a benign tumour such as a skin tag or a cancerous tumour. I would get it tested by your vet to decide the bedt course of action.

    It could be a benign lesion, cyst, infection, papilloma, etc. The best thing would be to have your vet take a look at it. Your vet can do a fine needle aspirate, if needed, to help diagnose and then determine the best way to treat.
