My 2 yo pug has 1/2" lump on his left hind leg. It is a spot where the dogs grab when they're playing. Should I be concern?

hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach Pink, hairless skin bumps on the legs of young dogs can be benign, they are called histiocytomas. They usually regress on their own in a couple of months. There are other possibilities as well- one is called a mast cell tumor. Your vet can aspirate the bump and send off the slide to be looked at. That way you know what it is. Good luck

Thank you for providing pictures of Hogg's lump. It's possible the lump is due to the other dogs grabbing him there, accidentally causing an injury. It could also be a benign tumor. I would have him seen by a vet on Monday for it. The vet can diagnose what is causing the lump, and how best to treat it. I hope this helps :-)
