My dog was bitten, now has hot, hard, oozing wounds. Is it infected?

Pet's info: Dog | Schipperke | Male | neutered | 13 years and 6 months old | 20 lbs

My DOG WAS BITTEN BY OUR OTHER DOG, he ACQUIRED a PUNCTURE x2 and OOZING,and NOT OPENING on the 2nd one? BEHIND HIS FRONT RIGHT LEG is the one that IS HARD,HOTand WILL NOT OPEN? I HAVE NO PHOTOS

Oh no, poor Amanti! He needs to see a vet immediately. If one of the puncture wounds is oozing and the other is hot, it sounds like they are infected which requires antibiotics from the vet to treat. He needs to have these wounds cleaned and treated. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

    It is possible an abscess has formed from the puncture wounds. I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian because he most likely needs antibiotics and anti inflammatories. You can try warm compresses two to three times a day to try and decrease the swelling and open up the abscess to drain. However if this does not work a vet visit would be best.
