Updated On September 23rd, 2025

What's wrong? -not eating for a day and a half -continuously changing stool (From normal to thick diarrhea to watery) -a lot of blood in one expel -since then drops of blood -a lot mucous, gooeyness in stool (Some expels were the consistency of pudding) -sometimes look like she is straining even though the stool is somewhat a liquid con -very horrible, unusual smell -eyes seem a little red -has not a drank today -despite those symptoms she seems to be acting fine, stills wags tail

It sounds like Dasher is suffering from gastroenteritis. Some of the more common causes of gastroenteritis include intestinal parasites, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach wall), pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, or a foreign body/blockage. Since Dasher has been sick for so many days I would recommend taking him to the vet. He may be dehydrated and need fluids as well as some antinausea medication to get him to eat and some antibiotics to help clear up the diarrhea.
