A general average for cats is about 1 pound a month until about 5 months of age if that helps you decided. It is not normal for you to be able to force a bowel movement from her when applying pressure. You may consider changing her food to something for a sensitive stomach to help. If this does not, then I would have her checked for parasites or an infection. It is unlikely related to the surgery since that was so long ago.
