Why is my dog still limping after I removed a thorn from his paw?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | 2 months and 23 days old | 8 lbs

i heard my dog yelp and after the yelp he stopping putting a lot of pressure on his front leg. i took out a small thorn from his paw but his leg is still bent and he wont put a lot of pressure on it. he was licking the paw. what should i do?

Poor Bean! He is so cute! It looks like he is experiencing some pain. I am not sure if he still has a thorn in his paw, he could have a strain/sprain, or possibly a fracture. Since he isn't putting weight on it, you should have him examined by a vet to determine the cause and prescribe a pain medication to help with the discomfort. If you havean emergncy clinic near you then you could take him there for treatment. Hope he feels better soon!
