Is my kitten's yellow poop & vomiting normal after distemper shot?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Male | neutered | 2 months and 27 days old | 3 lbs

my kitten just had the distemper vaccine yesterday is it normal for him to be pooping yellow runny poop and throwing up clear liquid?

It is not a typical reaction to the feline distemper vaccine. If he is otherwise acting fine then you could withhold food for 12 hours and see if the vomiting and diarrhea resolves. If not, he should be rechecked by your veterinarian to determine the cause and treat. Your veterinarian can prescribe medications to help control the vomiting and diarrhea. Your vet can test a stool sample for parasites and then prescribe a dewormer, if needed. If he is lethargic then he should be examined as soon as possible. Hope he feels better soon.

    A one time throw up I am not too concerned. If he is a little more tired today that can also be normal. I start to get concerned when they have excessive vomiting, difficulty breathing or swelling of anywhere. I would monitor Freddy tonight if he only vomited once and otherwise acting fine. If he continues to vomit or has any other symptoms, I would recommend bringing Freddy to the veterinarian to have him evaluated. Vaccine reactions are rare but they can happen.
