Hi, I'm Dr. Johnson. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This all depends on 2 things; 1) is Flex ok and 2) how much he weighs Acyclovir has a large margin of safety but an toxic dose can cause kidney problems. I highly recommend you call ASPCA poison control hotline. They have all the toxic doses of human drugs when a dog eats them, but is all weight bases. Weigh yourself then pick up Flex and weigh him and yourself. Subtract the 2 numbers and that is his weight. The ASPCA charges a fee. The number is (888) 426-4435
