Why are my dog's paws and mouth bleeding, and he's not moving?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 5 months old

My dog's paws and mouth are bleeding. I first noticed his paw two days ago, but thinking it was just a sore, put hydrogen peroxide on it, and just tryed to keep him off of it. Today, I realized his paw looked much worse, he is hardly moving, and his mouth is bleeding. He has not had his shots yet. Any help?

Poor Max! He could have an infection, clotting problem, or possibly an autoimmune disease. It is concerning that he is hardly moving and I think it would be best if he was examined by a vet to determine the cause of problem and treat. I don't think there is anything that you can do at home without veterinary care to diagnose the problem. Your vet can run lab-work, if needed, to help diagnose and then prescribe medications to treat. Hope he feels better soon!
