Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 20 lbs
I have an indoor kitty who is 1 year and 3 months , female, not yet spaded ,Bella, who has a circular size about a quarter on the back of her neck and its red, looks raw and tender, hair loss in that area, she seems to be in pain around the area. She is scheduled to be spaded in 2 weeks. I first thought this was a wound from a playful cat fight BC we have another cat 2yrs old Prancer, female, & she is Spaded, indoor cat, & since Bella went into heat she has been combative. But now I'm concerned

It is possible that Bella has a wound causing this circular size spot, but it could also be due to ringworm which is a highly contagious fungal infection. I would have her seen by a vet tomorrow to diagnose what is causing this wound so she can be treated. Even if she does have ringworm, that won't prevent her from getting spayed in two weeks, but it would be a good idea to have it diagnosed and treated before then.
