My dog stopped vomiting, but still eats garbage. Is this a good thing?

so my dog used to vomit a lot and we didnt know why. But then it stopped even though he eats garbage sometimes when we're away... does that mean a good or bad thing? Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Male

If he used to vomit a lot and it as now stopped then that would be a good thing, unless he isn't eating. If his appetite is good and he has no vomiting and/or diarrhea then it sounds like his vomiting issue has resolved.
