Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 30 lbs
My in laws dog is about 12-14 years old. She has had problems in the past with a tumor in or near her stomach and within the last year her health has dropped fast. Recently she has gotten to where she can't control her bowel movements, stomach area has gotten huge, and she can't hardly stand on her back 2 legs. She fell and now there is blood in her pee as well as a milky looking substance in her pee. We are worried the tumor might have bust open. Planning on having her putting her to sleep soon

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear about Cici. It sounds as if this has been a disease progression over quite some time but has progressed even quicker in the last little bit. If she is not spayed-my first thought is that she may have a pyometra, or uterine infection that would attribute to the whiteish milky substance in her urine when she voids. Crystals in her urine, etc can also cause this. If there is a tumor inside that you know about, it is definitely plausible that it has ruptured if she has fallen and that she is bleeding internally. If you do not want to pursue surgery it may be time to think about her quality of life. I would recommend taking her in soon to your doctor either way as these things can be quite painful for our pets as well as life threatening. My best to all of you.
