How to heal sores on my dogs mouth from wearing a mesh muzzle? My female dog doesnt get along with another female dog that lives in the same house, they have had fights in the past. So we muzzle my dog, well she got sores on her mouth that I can't seem to get to heal, I've tried bag balm and this pet ointment I believe called homeopet?, they do fine until she scratches them then it seems I'm starting over.

If you have already tried topical therapy without the lesions healing completely then she should probably be examined by a vet for treatment. She may need an oral antibiotic and anti-inflammatory to treat. Also, keep the muzzle off as it will probably prevent healing.
