Its been very hot lately and my dog doesnt drink water very much and i always keep his bowl filled but he just doesnt drink it very often and i am worried about dehydration. A friend told me to give him Pedialyte and that it was safe for him. So if i did give it to him how often should i give it to him?

Bandit is a very handsome guy! Pedialyte is safe for dogs, so it's fine to offer him some to drink if he likes it. You can offer some 2-3 times a day in addition to his regular water, if you like. Putting ice cubes in his water bowl, or using a pet fountain with moving water may also help encourage him to drink more.
