Can I leave my cats home alone safely for a week on vacation?

I am have anxiety thinking of leaving my 3 CATS home alone with out a sitter. This is the third year, we gone on vacation. Last ur, out animal sitter came twice in a week. Are they safe to be left alone. If they have plenty of water and littler boxes through out the house

Your cats will probably be ok for a week as long as they have plenty of food and water and lots of litter boxes to use. However, if it is possible I would recommend having someone come by and check on them at least once and maybe clean the boxes.
