Pet's info: Dog | English Shepherd | Male | neutered | 75 lbs
I have a 9year old English shepherd who had a sudden onset of diarrhea since Saturday. He's is up to date on his shots. There is no sign of worms in his stools. We have tried to mix plain white rice with his dog food and it has turned his stools from brown to yellowish brown, but they are getting consistency back. He hasn't lost his appetite and he's getting plenty of water. He's still running around and playing as usual. We also have a 5 year old Australian shepherd with no issues

Glad to hear there is some improvement in Tuckers diarrhea. I would stop all food for 24hrs, he can continue to have water. Then reintroduce a bland diet of plain boiled chicken and rice for 2-3 days. After that you can reintroduce the dog food. Sometime the stomach just needs a complete reset and will take a few days for the stool to return to being completely firm. If after this Tucker is still experiencing diarrhea he should be seen by his veterinarian. Hope this helps and Tucker starts feeling better soon.
