Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 lbs
My cat has a small lump on her back leg that has grown under her fur. It is solid and doesn't move around. She is an indoor cat that rarely, if at all, goes outside. She is very small and going on 10 years old. The lump doesn't seem to cause her any discomfort, but she doesn't like it being touched. Should I be worried?

Yes, it is best to be safer rather than sorry and have the lump checked over as soon as possible. It could be a cancerous lump that requires urgent treatment. Your vet can start sampling it with a needle and putting the content on a slide and take it from there.

This lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Kitty to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
