My cat is constipated with dry stool. Does she need an emergency vet?

2 weeks ago i took her to vet because decrease appetite. Vet gave her med for upset tummy and to stimulate appetite. She has been wanting us to rub her belly alot. This eve i found a piece of feces on floor(not like her) it was round about size of pinky finger brown and dry. I then followed her to litter where she tried to potty but couldnt but had some poo on her fur back there. I have got her to eat about 1.5 inches of Lax'aire. Is this ok or should she go to emergency vet? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 10 years and 6 months old | 10 lbs

Hi there. If snowball is having stool that firm and is having a hard time going to the bathroom, it's time for a trip to the vet for further diagnostics and likely an iv with fluids so that she can get rehydrated. They can also give her a sanitary shave to remove the excess hair back there that's getting matted. My best to you both!
