Any food that has an AAFCO certification label on the bag has been tested to be well balanced. And any food that is labeled for puppies is designed to support growth. So I would go with a small breed, puppy dog food with an AAFCO label. I really like the following brands: Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Evo, and Eukanuba. Best wishes taking care of your new puppy. And don't forget that vaccinations usually start around 8 weeks of age, so schedule an appt with your veterinarian soon if you haven't done so already. Take care.

A good high quality puppy food is recommended for proper growth until Tommy is 1 year of age. I would recommend either Royal Canin, Hills Science diet, Eukanuba or Evo (Innova). No extra vitamins or supplements are needed unless your pet has a diagnosed deficiency from your vet. He should also eat 3 times a day until he is around 6-8 months of age, at which time feeding twice daily is sufficient. I would select the appropriate size puppy food also (small or large breed) depending on your pets breed. I hope this helps! Best wishes with Tommy and his care moving forward. Take care.
