Could my dog's pancreatitis be from neutering or anesthesia?

our 7 month old beagle was castrated on July 4th and has now been diagnosed with pancreatitis could the operation have caused it

The surgery itself would not have contributed but anesthetic and stress of kennelling is a recognised but unusual trigger. Most cases will resolve over 5-7days, an ultra low fat diet is most effective in both treatment and preventing recurrence
