Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 22 days old
My puppy doesn't go to the bathroom everyday. And I know that's bad and when she does it looks like it hurt her so badly and she looks sad the whole time than after al that pushing she did only one or two little really little pieces come out. She eats all white boiled chicken everyday, she won't eat dog food not sure how much that plays a role in this. Is this something I can fix at home or should I take her to the vet?

Poor Penelope! This is not normal and yes, her diet may be playing a role as boiled chicken is mot a balanced diet and lacking in fiber as well as many other nutrients. I recommend converting ger to a high quality, meat based canned food with additional fiber to promote 3 bowel movementsa day. Offer little and often and take away if not eaten, top with boiled chicken initially. A range of medical conditions and birth defects may also be involved and a full vet check should be considered if not responding
