Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Male | neutered | 27 lbs

Our three-year-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel is having these sores on couple of areas on his body. The sore in the picture is on his chest. I would like to know if this is jut a dry skin or any other skin disease.

Poor Chinna. This looks like a skin infection. Most likely bacterial or fungal. Since he has multiple sores, he will likely need some oral medicine like antibiotics prescribed by your vet. I would see your vet for medication and possible medicated shampoo to help him feel better. I hope this helps!
