Hi there I have a 12 week old kitten that is experiencing diarrhea I can't for the life of me figure out what is causing this as there has been no change to her environment. I am curious though..... could it be caused by the fact that she will only drink from my Dog's bowl?? I have noticed if the water level gets to low in the Bowl it is mostly slobber and I was curious if this could be the cause?? is it possible the extra mucus from the slobber is causing her to get the runs??

Hi, sorry to hear Tora is having diarrhea. I don't think sharing the dog's water is causing it. The most common reason for kittens to have diarrhea is intestinal parasites. I would get her dewormed and a stool sample taken to your vet to check for eggs in it. Even if she has already been dewormed, I would check again because the life cycle of parasites vary which means you have to deworm them multiple times. Good luck, I hope this helps!
