My 7-month-old puppy has a growing bump he keeps licking. What is it?

This bump came into my 7 month old pup weimaner and lab mix. It has gotten slightly bigger and he is now licking at it constantly. Is there so.ething I can do?

It could be a histiocytoma. The best thing would be to have your vet examine him to determine the cause. Your vet can do an needle aspirate to diagnose and then determine the best way to treat the problem. If it is a histiocytoma it should regress without treatment although your vet may want to remove it, especially if he is constantly licking the area.
