I have a one year old Maltichon who poos regularly, normally without any problems. I gave him some garden peas with his dinner last night and throughout the night he had a stool along with diahorrea which stank. He has since had his dry food this morning but nothing since and has had watery yellow diahorrea twice. He seems to be fine in all other ways and has been drinking water. Should I let him eat or should I starve him for 24 hours? Could the peas be the cause of this?

I usually dont fast animals unless they are vomiting. Some mild cases of diarrhea resolve on their own, others do well after a few days of a bland diet like white rice/boiled chicken and others need antibiotics from a veterinarian. Since Snoops is acting ok he may do well with a bland diet for a few days. I don't know if the peas are to blame for this but I recommend not giving him any more u till his diarrhea resolves.
