My puppy vomits after eating and playing. Is this normal?

My golden retriever who is 8 months old may have some problems with digestion. Whenever he is in a playful mood after food,he jumps and runs but in a short while he vomits whatever he takes. Is it a problem with his digestion,specifically with my dog or its a common issue?

Hi, I'm Dr. Johnson. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! What a cute Golden! It is not a common issue to vomit after eating or after exercise. I don't know if this happens every time after eating or rarely. It is not common to vomit with exercise every time after he eats. If that is the case I'd have him looked at by your Veterinarian. Things to try: Do not allow him to play after eating for 45 mins. Just keep him calm. Allow time for him to digest his meals. You could also try feeding him smaller meals more frequently so his stomach isn't so full. If the above things do not help, please see your Veterinarian! I wish you the best of luck!
