My dog has pancreatitis & diabetes, but won't eat. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 65 lbs

2 days ago I took my pet dog to vets very unwell. Diagnosed pancreatitis and also diabetic, gave fluids for 24hrs and insulin every 12 hrs also anti biotics twice a day seems to have improved but will not eat. Is this normal

Hi, so sorry to hear that Sasha is not feeling well. Pancreatitis and diabetes are bad diseases to have by themselves. If she has both together that is not a good sign. You cannot expect her to be back to normal in such little time. I would not expect her to be back to 100% after only 24-26 hours of treatment. So, yes, it can be normal. If the diabetes is due to the pancreatitis it may resolve once the pancreatitis is under control.
