Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | neutered | 30 lbs
My 6 year old dog is vomiting bile just before his next meal and in the early mornings. I have tried switching meals to a bland one, switching to Royal Canin Low fat gastro intestinal, increasing number of meals to 4 in a day and feeding just before sleep. No change. We did all haematology, T4, LFT and pancreatic enzymes test - all normal. This has been going on for a month now. Please help!

Chronic vomiting can be frustrating especially since everything you have tried so far. I know you have been to the vet a lot but Led does not to go back tonhave radiographs or an ultrasound done to look inside his abdomen and intestines and possibly a biopsy to find the underlying cause instead of symptomatic treatment.

He may simply have an acid reflux problem. I would ask your vet for a short course of antacids to try with Led to see if this makes a difference, especially if he is otherwise acting normal and all his lab findings are good. If the antacids don't work, then the next best diagnostic tool to finding out his underlying problem would be to have his scope (endoscopy) to get a full on visual of his GI tract from his esophagus down to his stomach. HOpefully we don't have to go that far and this is just an acid reflux issues. Best wishes moving forward with Led's care. I hope you get some answers soon. Take care.
