My dog is throwing up clear foam and has bloody poop. Can I treat it at home?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 5 years and 6 months old

My dog is throwing up a clear foamy liquid and pooping an oily gelatinous liquid with what appears to be blood. I can't afford to go to the vet. What should I do? Other than this she seems OK and her normal self.

I would recommend withholding food from Kanga for about 24 hours and see if this helps her stomach settle down. If not, then you will need to take her in to the vet to be evaluated. At the very least your vet can give her some medication to help with her nausea and diarrhea. Good luck!
