My dog is vomiting, constipated, black poop after meds. What to do?

Hi 2days ago my 9 year dog got a small bite cut near his eye and and the next day he started rubbing and swelling starts ,then i take him to the vet and he prescribed two tablets 1st one is lixen (cephalexin tablets 600 mg) and 2nd one is voveran sr 100 ( diclofenac sodium) he prescribed 1 tablet each in the morning and 1 in evening and after giving 3 dosages my starts vomiting as soon as he eat and drink water and constipation also black colour poop.what antacid should i give and what to do

Hi there, he may be having some gastric upset due to the antibiotics, but I would encourage you to call your vet to see if you could maybe stop the diclofenac and finish the cephalexin. If you are not giving your medications with a meal they can cause gastric upset even more, as they will increase gastric acid production. Pepcid (famotidine) is usually considered safe to use in dogs-you will have to call your doctor for a dosage or find it online as we cannot legally give you a dosage due to the nature of our company and having not seen your pet in person. However-and blood in the stool (I am assuming this is digested blood in your black feces) and not being able to eat without vomiting to me represents something I would personally encourage you to seek emergency veterinary care for.
