Storm is definitely a cutie! Yes, it's fine for him to go out to poop and pee in the yard :) As far as flying goes, I would definitely recommend checking to see if he can fly in the cabin with you, under the seat - this is much safer and less stressful than flying in the cargo hold, especially in hot weather. Very small dogs can usually fly this way, so check with your airline to see what the weight/size limit is for flying in the cabin. He will need a health certificate from your vet in order to fly, so make sure to get this ASAP so that everything is in order.

Great questions! Yes, it's fine for Storm to go out in your front yard to pee and poop as long as he has no contact with strange dogs, and strange dogs do not use your yard. That's because he won't be fully immunized against deadly disease like parvo and distemper until he has two more series of vaccines. You will have to see your vet to get a heath certificate in order for him to fly with you. I would check with your airline's specific requirements for transporting dogs. You should see a vet today to get the health certificate. Once he has that, he should be fine to fly :-)
