Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | spayed | 14 years and 6 months old | 12.3 lbs
i took my 14y/o shih tzu to vet today. she was diagnosed with tracheobronchitis & given an antibiotic & anticough injection. she was also placed on clavamox & hydrocodone /homatropine. how long do i have to wait to take her to doggie daycare? is this contagious to other dogs?

Poor Rosie! Tracheobronchitis can be contagious to other dogs. She may be contagious for a few weeks as there are multiple organisms that can cause it and they can persist for varying periods of time. Your veterinarian may have more specific recommendations or the dog daycare may want her to be rechecked prior to her going back.
