Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 2 days old | 20 lbs
Our 6 mo old frenchie threw up last night many hours after eating. we reluctantly offered him a small portion of food hours later, which he ignored until this am. all seemed good. We fed him his normal lunch portion in the afternoon, which he ate w normal gusto. a couple of hours later, it all came back up, rather undigested. He has been acting completely normal (quite playful) the entire time. stool has been pretty normal (slightly soft). Any thoughts?

Im sorry Franklin isn't doing well! He could have a GI illness causing his symptoms, and I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 8-12 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. I hope this helps!

I'm sorry Reg isn't doing well! He could be vomiting because he has a GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, a foreign body, or intestinal worms among other causes. I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. As for the amount of times you are feeding him, at seven months of age he only needs to be fed twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Take the daily recommended allotment of food on his bag, and divide it into two equal meals. Best of luck!
